currently in the process of adding some work to my portfolio. it's a bit of a blessing and a curse to realize how much incomplete work i still own. most of it lives that way because of an inability to pull adequate funding and resources together, but there's an encouraging promise in it's quality and momentum that keeps me working on all of it until i can finally put it all out for people to see.
the first two photos above were made in june 2014. it is part of one layer of a two color geometric print titled "stardust." the next photo is from a series that i've only slowly been making progress on since 2013, but after a lot of material testing (involving a lot of emails, laser cutters, and fumes) is finally starting to come together. much more to come on this through spring and summer.
There's a lot of fantastic art and design that I see on a daily basis that I repeatedly consider putting on this "blog" but I usually don't because there are frankly so many (countless) other places dedicated just to sharing the work of others online. This place, on the other hand is little more than a neglected digital scrapbook of my work. However, I came across a designer recently whom I'd never seen on any blogs or design sites and is doing work that I really admire for its unique conceptual vision and aesthetic approach.
